Chapter 1

Author pov:

The sun kissed the ancient city of Varanasi, casting a golden hue over the narrow, winding lanes. A gentle breeze carried the sweet fragrance of incense and the rhythmic chants of morning prayers. Amidst this serene backdrop, in a quaint house nestled by the Ganges, lived a young woman named Naina.

Naina was the epitome of sunshine, a radiant jewel in her family's crown. Her laughter, like the melodious chimes of temple bells, filled their home with joy. She was sweet and bubbly, always ready with a smile and a kind word. Yet, beneath her cheerful exterior, lay a sharp intellect and a sassy spirit.

"Naina, beta, it's time for your Dinner," her mother's gentle voice called out.

Naina, who was lost in a book, looked up with a smile. "Coming, Ma".

She closed the book and headed to living hall, her mind already racing with thoughts of the upcoming exams. She was determined to excel, to prove herself.

                          Naina's pov

Hi everyone, I'm Naina Arora. I recently finished my 12th grade and now I'm preparing for competitive exams to get into a good college. I'm so excited!

I was lost in thought when my mom called me for dinner. "Coming, Ma," I replied.

I joined my family in the living room for dinner. "Here comes my child," Dad said lovingly. "How was your day, Princess?" asked my brother.

"It was good, Bhai," I smiled.

"Enough chit-chat, let's eat," Mom said, guiding us to the table.

After dinner, I went to my room, saying goodnight to my parents. My brother joined me for a while, kissed my forehead, and wished me goodnight before leaving.

Days passed, and I finally finished my exams. Now, I'm eagerly waiting for the results and college admissions.

Today is Sunday, and my dad and brother are home. We're all sitting in the living room. I'm on my phone, Mom is busy with something, and Dad and Bhai are discussing a new business venture.

"Naina, come here, beta," Mom called.

"Yes, Ma," I replied, walking towards her.

"When are your results coming out, beta?" she asked. "In two or three days, Ma," I answered. She nodded.

Days flew by, and finally, today is the result day. I'm nervous. "Relax, Naina, beta. I know you'll do well," Dad said, reassuring me.

"Don't worry, Princess. It'll be fine," Bhai added, and I nodded.

Later that day, my grandparents returned from their pilgrimage and comforted me. I felt more relaxed and confident.

After dinner, we were all sitting in the living room, chatting. Suddenly, I received an email:

Dear Naina,

Congratulations! You cleared the exam with [marks] out of [total marks] and have been selected.

Thank you.

Regarding counseling and result examiner.

I read the email over and over, unable to believe my eyes. I had been selected for several top colleges! "Ahhhhh!" I exclaimed.

"What happened?" Mom rushed in from the kitchen. "What's wrong, Princess?" Dad asked. "Nainu, kya hua? Why are you shouting?" Grandma and Grandpa asked, looking concerned.

(Naina, what happened)

I looked at them with tears of joy in my eyes. "I cleared the exam and got selected!" I said. They were relieved but confused. "You what?" Bhai asked, and I nodded, smiling. Mom quickly brought sweets. "Congratulations, beta. Sweeten your mouth and share with everyone," she said, passing the sweets around.

After the celebrations, Dad asked, "Which college did you choose, beta?" "I chose SKJ Mumbai College, Papa," I replied happily.

"Mumbai isn't too far, beta," Mom said, concerned. "Yes, Naina, beta, your mother is right," Dad agreed. I looked at my brother with puppy eyes, and he gestured, "Don't worry, I'll handle it."

Bhai talked to Mom and Dad, and they finally agreed. I'm excited to start my college life. I'm going to live alone in Mumbai, but I know my family loves me and is just concerned about me. Everything is settled now, and I'm very happy. As I thought about my new college, new friends, and new experiences, I fell asleep.

                  On the other hand

The city of Mumbai thrummed with life, a ceaseless symphony of honking horns, bustling markets, and the distant hum of trains. In the heart of this metropolis, a young man named Neil found himself caught in the whirlwind of expectations. He was the heir apparent to the Khurana Industries, a legacy built on the pillars of wealth and influence.

Yet, beneath his polished exterior, Neil yearned for something more. The structured life, the constant pressure to conform, stifled his spirit. He longed for freedom, for the chance to explore his passions, to carve his own path.

“You have a responsibility, Neil,” his father would often remind him. “The future of the company rests on your shoulders.”

The weight of this expectation was heavy, a burden he carried silently. But a flicker of rebellion ignited within him. He found solace in quiet moments or gazing out of his window, his mind wandering to distant horizons.

A glimmer of hope appeared when he received his college admission letter. It was a chance to break free, to experience life beyond the confines of his family’s opulent world.

“I’m going to college, Dad,” he announced one evening, his voice steady.

His father raised an eyebrow, a hint of surprise in his eyes. “And what will you study? Business, of course.”

“No, Dad,” Neil replied, his voice firm. “I want to study something I’m passionate about.”

His father’s expression turned stern. “Passion? What about the company? The legacy?”

“I’ll fulfill my duties,” Neil assured him. “But I also want to live my own life.”

With a heavy sigh, his father relented. “Very well, but don’t disappoint me."

"Which topic did you start early in the morning Aanad, come Neil bata hoti rahagi have some breakfast first" Neil's Mother announced and both father son without any choice move towards the table for breakfast.

"Mom breakfast is very delicious,I love u mom" Neil said and gave kiss to his mother check . His mother smiled while saying " Thanku beta."

"Nashta, bo bi mera Bina that's not fair beautiful " they all doing their breakfast while they all listen voice and looked behind only to see two handsome, looking boys coming towards them and they are none other then vihan and Aryan .

(Breakfast, without me , that's not fair beautiful)

"Hii, beautiful, how are you" vihan asked while hugging Neil's Mother and passing teasing towards someone and that person also burning with jealousy and it was none other than Neil's Father Aanad.

"I'm fine beta ,you say how are you" Niharika asked while hugging back. " I'm fit and fine beautiful" vihan said still hugging Niharika.

"Hey,hey that enough bhut hug ho gya" Aanad ji said while pulling Niharika (Neil's Mother) . "Chill uncle ,we are just hugging "vihan said grinning and pulling Niharika checks. Aanad again glaring vihan while others chuckle looking both of them.

(Hey, that's enough of your hugging)

"Hii uncle,Hii aunty, ap mujsa nhi milaga ma bi hu" aryan said. "Bilkul beta, come here and have some breakfast with us and vihan you also"Aanad ji said hugging Aryan and then vihan. Aanad also loves both of them and why not afterall both of them are his son's best friends and his best friends son.

(Uncle, aunt don't you want to meet with me)

Aryan hugged  Niharika and Aanad and move towards Neil's and gave him a hi-fi and sit beside him. Vihan also followed Aryan and sit on the chair left to right and Aryan at left.

"Where are the others mom" Neil asked. "Beta your dadu dadi left to mandir, your uncle aunt for your aunt relatives function and Disha and arav are also with them, evening Tak aa jayaga beta." Niharika replied smiling.

( Dadu,dadu gone to temple)

Neil nodded and all done their breakfast peacefully and boys move towards Neil's room.

" What's the plan bro?" vihan asked moving towards bed. Aryan and Neil also move towards couch and sit.

"Nothing yar, Bo hi Dad aur ma further studies ki baat kr rha tha" Neil said sighing.

(Nothing Dad and I are talking about my further studies)

"Ok, but what uncle said" Aryan asked. "Dad wants me to join their business but I want to live freely and wanna enjoy college with my friend." Neil said looking towards them and smiling.

"Don't worry Neil, uncle will understand" aryan cheerfully said to Neil.

"I know, afterall mom is also my side and Dad loves my mother alot and mom loves me"  Neil said and winking them.

"Yeah, yeah we all know that ,uncle drta bi toh hai aunt sa" vihan said and chuckled. " Duffer it's not dar isko love kehta ha."Aryan said and hit him on his head. Like this they

talk and spend their time together and after some time both vihan and Aryan left for their homes.
